Communication in Case of Emergency
IMPORTANT: The school will send out text messages in times of an emergency. Many of you have not opted in to these text messages and will not receive important information if there is ever an emergency at Weathersfield. Please see the below information to make sure you are set to receive text communications.
We encourage families to have at least one mobile number in our Q system that is “opted in” to receive text communication.
If you would like to receive future text communication from the school and school district, please complete the following steps:
- Login to your Q profile: https://conejo.vcoe.org/parentconnect/
- Click on “My Information” on the top right
- Then click on “Edit” next to your name on the right hand side
- Find the Telephone Numbers field (shown below) and check the “Text Msg” box:
5. Then click on “Submit” on the top left

The Conejo Valley Unified School District Board of Education recently approved an updated version of CVUSD Board Policy 5131.8 “Mobile Communication Devices,” which goes into effect this 2025-2026 school year.
